Image Capture / Scanning

35mm), microfiche, aperture cards, and engineering drawings. Image
clean up and presentation functions such as, cropping, de-skewing,
rotation, blank back-side removal, and de-speckling are tailored

Reliable retrieval of digital data is one of the primary objectives

function through comprehensive operator training to each client’s
indexing specification and rigid quality assurance checks to ensure
conformance to any specified level of accuracy.
Text Capture & Clean Up
Unintelligent text found within each scanned image file is converted
into intelligent (ASCII) text using state of the art Optical Character
Recognition (OCR) engines. Each page of raw ASCII text is subjected
to multiple visual and electronic checks to ensure accuracy with
it’s printed counterpart. Once through the Clean Up process
the captured data can be organized for use by full text search software
or desktop applications such as publishing or word processing.
e-Publishing and Mark Up Languages
